Sunstate Distributors was founded in 1971 by the Yoder family as a flooring supply store. In 2013, it was purchased by Andy O'Dell, who followed in the footsteps of his father, a division manager for floor coverings at Sears Department Store for 42 years.

Andy began his journey in the flooring industry as a sales representative, eventually opening his own retail store, which remains operational today. His dedication and expertise led him to acquire Sunstate Distributors. In 2023, after years of hard work, Andy decided it was time to retire and enjoy the fruits of his labor.

In 2024, Chris and Harry purchased Sunstate Distributors from Andy, and they are committed to upholding his values and principles.
